Last Night, Ludacris, (That's Right LUDA!!!!!) came to perform at the Miami Heat Away Game Rally. I was like 5 feet away from him at one point. Above is the footage footage.

What an amazing comeback. By far one of the greatest comebacks in not just NBA history but in sporting history. The Miami Heat made an amazing comeback after being down by 14 points mid way in the fourth quarter.
Late in the 4th Miami turned the Heat on, going on a 18-3 run to defeat the Bulls 83-80 and win the series 4-1. Now the Heat will face the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals starting Tuesday May 31 in Miami.
From this series, I have gained a lot of respect for Chicago Bulls point gaurd ,Derrick Rose. He is super fast. When you see it on TV you wonder "Why are they just letting him go by like that" but from seeing him play in person in Game 4, I think he is the fastest person in the league. I also like how he took all responsible for his team coming short in this series. Most players will say that we didn't perform well tonight, but Rose is different. He says I didn't perform well. I made mistakes. I had too many turnovers. I didn't play good enough defense. I really respect him as a player and before it is all said in done, I think he will win a championship.
My prediction for the NBA Finals ( In case you haven't read any of my other bias posts) is that the Heat will win the series in 6 games. I hoping it goes six so I can go to the game and see them win the championship. Go Heat!!!!!
Recently, Fox has began showing trailers for a new show this fall, Terra Nova. The plot is weird but from what I understand it takes place 100+ years in the future when humans are facing extinction. In an effort to save humanity, scientists create a portal to transport humans back to prehistoric time to preserve the race. On that note let me begin the countdown.
5 The premise is dumb
Go back and reread the premise. Ok if these scientists are smart enough to make a time machine they should be smart enough to find a way to save the human race other than sending people back to the beginning to start over. Also if you built a time machine, instead of sending them back all the way to the beginning how about sending them to a point before the world began to go downhill and prevent the deaths of thousands of lives. Maybe this will be explained by saying the time portal is like an alternate reality or something but it still sounds sketch.
4 The budget is too big
Reportedly, the 2 hour season premiere cost over $16 million to produce and each preceding episode will cost approximately $4 million to produce. A lot of pressure is being put on this show to perform very well immediately. It will not have the luxury of growing an audience over time like shows with a smaller budget.
3Its going to be in a bad time slot
Reportedly, the show will air this fall on Monday at 8pm. A difficult night for any new show to compete let alone a show targeted for a distinct audience ( more on that later) On its premiere night, Terra Nova will have to compete with not only Dancing with the Stars on ABC but also How I Met Your Mother on CBS and The Sing Off on NBC. Even Gossip Girl on The CW will pose a threat to the Terra Nova premiere.
2 The target audience will be too small for network television
The target audience for the show will be the sci-fi crowd. They must capture a great majority of this demographic for the show to survive. With the high budget and high network television standards, the show will have to average at least 5-7 million viewers each week for the show to have a chance at longevity
1 Fox always cancelled these shows.
Although Fox loves to introduce innovate shows, they always gets cancelled. Think about it......
Dark Angel,
Firefly
Fastlane
Family Guy (Twice before Fox got some sense)
Dollhouse ( Fortunatelythey were able to film a proper ending to this great show)
Arrested Development
Freaks and Geeks
Lone Star (Only lasted 2 episodes. Thats right 2 episodes)
Need I mention more. With many of these shows, they will be performing average or even very well and then Fox will put it in the time slot of death (8pm or 9pm) of Friday nights. No show to my memory has ever performed particular well on Fridays on Fox. Currently their latest victim of the time slot of death is Fringe. It may make it one more season if it is lucky. When Fringe is cancelled I believe Terra Nova will be in line to take its place.
I maybe be wrong about this but I doubt it. I think Terra Nova, although a difficult concept to sale, has the potential to be a decent show. Below is the first teaser for the show.
Kim Kardashian, never one to keep quiet about anything ( except maybe plastic surgery) has announced her engagement to New Jersey Nets scrub... I mean power forward Kris Humphries. Way to take the focus off of an amazing Eastern Conference Finals game last night and a great NBA playoffs for an attention whore and a NBA player who hasn't sniffed the playoffs in years
Upon first look Humphries could be confused with Twilight star Taylor Lautner. The similarities are undeniable. I bet Kim thinks she has been dating Jacob this whole time. " Jacob I didn't know you played basketball"
Well if the two of them go through with this marriage, we know we will have to deal with another Keeping Up With The Kardashians spinoff. *Sigh*
I hope Ray J is getting royalties from the Kardashians' rise to fame. I think 10% is the least they could do for him.
The Miami Heat took a command 3-1 with a 101-93 win over the Chicago Bulls in game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals. What an amazing game all the way through.
Lebron James had a King like night with 35 points. Bosh finished with 22 points. Wade had a a slient night offensively with only 14 points but he came up big in overtime with a few clutch shots and a huge block to seal the victory for the heat.
Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose finished with Jordan's number on just 8-27 shooting from the field. He also missed two shots late in the 4th quarter that could have sealed the deal for Chicago. Noe the Bulls will be facing elimination in Game 5 on Thursday in Chicago.
I had the privilege of attending Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals. It is by far the best experience I have ever had at a sporting event as a fan. Hopefully I will be returning back to AA Arena soon for the NBA Finals. Below is a picture of the view from my seat. Not the best seats but at least I was there to experience a very memorable game.
This is the first trailer for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 coming out on. With all the Call of Duty Games in the over the years, many are worn out from the series ( myself included) ,but this teaser trailer will be reinvigorating.
The Modern Warfare series have always been the best of the series when compared to the Treyarch games. Treyarch set the bar really high, last fall with the release of Call of Duty Black Ops. If Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games can somehow top this, we will be arguably the best First Person Shooter (FPS) of all time.
Sunday, Sammy Sosa made his return back in the public light when he appeared in Miami at the Bulls/Heat game. Sosa has been fairly hidden since retiring from baseball after a stint with the Rangers.
Sosa was a much player for the Chicago Cubs for most of his career until allegations of his steroid use arose in 2003. Then the craziness began.
Shortly after retiring from baseball after a short stint with the Texas Rangers in 2007, we saw a Sammy Sosa who looked like he had been taking skin tips from Micheal Jackson with an outrageous new look.
Woah! What Happened? Sosa said it was a new skin cream that he was taken. I personally have never heard of any creams with those pigment changing abilities. If that was the case, Michael would have not need all those surgeries.
It's good to see Sosa back to normal. Maybe this will improve his hall of fame chances.

For the first video of the week, I picked the College Humor video entitled: The Jersey Shore Meets Dragonball Z. This video is hilarious. The video combines two of my favorite shows. Arguably the best anime series of all time Dragonball Z and the always hilarious and crazy Jersey Shore.
College Humor's animation videos are the best on the site. They are always smart and witty. The video game parodies with Mario should definitely be watched. If any new ones are uploaded they will definitely be candidates for future video of the weeks.
